| Flamingo Overhead! |
This beautiful Flamingo was flying right above my head, and not too high, so I managed to catch a great deal of detail on it's feathers and body. Didn't even have to crop this photo.
For some reason Flamingos always look like they were badly put together - with the funny beaks, long necks, awkward legs, etc. But once they're in the air they're very graceful and elegant. So I guess the design works for them.
What do I like about this photo? The colors are awesome, with the Flamingo colors having a nice contrast against the cloudless sky. The amount of detail is great - you can zoom in right into the wings to see everything. The almost spread-out wings are wonderful - lots of details to see but not completely straight so they're more interesting.
What would I want to improve? Not much actually. If the Flamingo was flying a little lower we would have gotten more details of its side as well, but that's mostly nit picking at this point.
