| Grey Heron with Huge Catch |
I was watching this Great Grey Heron try to deal with the huge Catfish she caught for a while. Not sure if she was successful in the end, since I had to go, but from this photo there appears to be a problem. But then, she looked like she knew what she was doing, so...
What do I like about this photo? The scene is awesome - the wonders of nature in play! There are overall quite good details on the Heron and the Catfish, with the background not stealing any attention from the scene.
What would I have liked to improve? A lower point of view would have been more impressive (as is almost always the case with water birds). An angle a bit from behind would have allowed for seeing more reflection in the water, which would also improve the photo.
