| Bulbul in Flight |
The Bulbul is one of the most common birds in Israel, often overlooked because of their "boring" colors. But it is a beautiful and charming bird nonetheless!
What do I like about this photo? The wonderful pose of the Bulbul in flight, showing its wings and the yellow color just above the tail. I used a fast shutter speed to freeze the action, so the Bulbul is sharp even though it's moving rapidly.
What would I want to improve? The background is difficult here - the branches steal too much attention from the bird on the one hand, and the blue sky is too boring. A green background, for example, would have been a real upgrade.
