Eye Level |
So how would a lizard view the world? I had to lie down and place my camera on the floor to find out. I must say the results are somewhat dramatic...
Focus becomes really important, as everything at eye level is getting very distant very fast. Note how sharp the lizards head is, and how out of focus everything else becomes.
An interesting lesson :)
What do I like about this photo? The shallow depth of field (created by an open aperture) really creates a very dramatic photo, making the subject stand out. The little feather in front of the lizard adds interest, as well. The sparkle in the eye is also a bonus.
What would I want to improve? Eye contact would have been huge, or catching the lizard as it's walking...
