This is Ginger - a young cat we adopted a few months ago. He is named that way because in Hebrew a redhead is a Gingi, so it rhymes so nicely. When he arrived he was tiny, but has grown since to be a huge, happy, playful, cute cat. Probably the friendliest cat I have ever known.
What do I like about this photo? The eye contact, with the relaxed but dynamic pose (like only cats can). I used an open aperture to create a shallow depth of field so the background is blurred out and Ginger clearly stands out in the photo. The amount of details is huge, as well (do enlarge).
What would I want to improve? I would remove the white chair in the background, mostly. The blurred natural background looks so much nicer...
