Bees are incredible creatures - watching them flying from flower to flower, taking sips, buzzing happily. Catching one in a macro shot shows incredible new detail - like their contribution to the fertilization of the flowers. Beautiful details that are very hard, if not impossible, to observe with the naked eye.
What do I like about this photo? The amount of detail, the contrast between the Bee and the flower, and the overall composition. I used a closed aperture to get the entire Bee in focus, but also ensured that the background is far enough for it to be blurred well.
What would I want to improve? A more frontal angle, and possible less obscuring of the Bee by the flower, would probably have been preferable.
