| Golden Giraffes |
When the sun gets low, the world glows in a golden light. This is commonly referred to as the "golden hour". Photos taken at this hour look like they have some magical quality to them. This photo shows two Giraffes, probably a mother and her offspring, eating calmly in the fading sunlight. The glow of the light through their manes is beautiful to behold.
What do I like about this photo? The lighting, obviously. Everything in painted in orange (or gold, if you'd like a more poetic description). The beautiful, majestic giraffes, arguably the most elegant mammals in existence.
What would I want to improve? Better distinction between the subjects and the background would have been great.
