| Giving a Speech |
This Sardinian Warbler looks very thoughtful, as if he's giving an important speech! Pretty impressive from a bird that's just a few centimeters long. And very challenging to catch in the frame, as they're constantly hopping around.
What do I like about this photo? The pose, and the composition. I used an open aperture to create a shallow depth of field, so the Warbler is in focus but the background is blurred out. The background color also augments the Warbler very nicely.
What would I want to improve? The branches in the back make for a somewhat noisy background, stealing some focus from the Warbler.
