Maybe the most dangerous of all animals in Africa, Hippos weigh a ton (actually a few tons), have short tempers, and can run faster than humans! Plus they have these huge teeth in their mouths...

But they also look so cute and cuddly. Like this one, happily grazing the grass.

Until you catch a glimpse of that tooth...

What do I like about this photo? The calm atmosphere, and the composition, with good color contrast between the Hippo and the rest of the photo.

What would I want to improve? The Hippo is too close to the right end of the photo - more distance would have been nice.
