| Yellow Power |
This time of year we get large amounts of Sunflowers, especially near water sources. They glow in the sunlight so beautifully, like the one shown here.
What do I like about this photo? The colors, and the lighting from the back, which makes the yellow glow, and the outline of the flowers glow as well. I used an open aperture to create a shallow depth of field, so the Sunflower is in focus but the rest is blurred out (including the Sunflower in the back). The background color augments the Sunflower very well.
What would I want to improve? I should have changed my angle a little to get the other Sunflower (the one in the back) in the frame as well, blurred out as it is.
