| Common Tern with Catch |
The Terns are having a ball at the fish lakes, constantly catching unsuspecting fish. This photo shows one just as it's emerging from the water with the unlucky catch.
What do I like about this photo? The dynamic pose, with the water drops flying around. The nice reflection. I used a fast shutter speed to freeze the action, so even though everything is happening quickly the Tern and the water drops are sharp.
What would I want to improve? The colors are a bit on the boring side. Eye contact with the Tern would have been huge. A lower angle of view would have made the photo more dramatic.
