| Crab Observing |
A tiny crab, standing on top of a rock near the see and seemingly observing the waves. These tiny crabs are very agile when climbing the rocks and finding small nooks and crannies to hide in, so you have to be extra careful not to scare them with any sudden movement.
What do I like about this photo? The interesting pose, with the unusual subject. I used an open aperture co create a shallow depth of field, so the crab is in focus but the water and the rock are not. This really makes it stand out. The color contrast between the green crab, the brown rock, and the somewhat colorless sea also contributes to that.
What would I want to improve? I would have like to be closer to get more details on the crab.
