| Natural Back-Lighting |
A beautiful example of what sunlight coming from behind the subject, with a dark background, can do to a photo. The subject lights up, really standing out in the photo.
What do I like about this photo? As noted above, the lighting combined with the darker background. The colors are wonderful, as well. I used an open aperture to create a shallow depth of field, so the subject is in focus and the background is blurred out. The background provides some interest, as well.
What would I want to improve? A different angle might have allowed me to remove some noise from the photo (the somewhat blurred branches on the left) without cropping part of the subject.
