Wonderful news - this photo showing a Common Kingfisher after she caught a Dragonfly was chosen to be displayed in an exhibition at Bangkok Art & Culture Centre in Bangkok, Thailand! Opening night is April 9, 2022.

The Common Kingfisher is the smallest and arguably most beautiful of the Kingfishers frequenting Israel. They're also amazingly capable hunters - catching both fish and insects with their strong beaks. A pleasure to observe!
